Chosen Solution
i had my alienware 15 for 2 years, then i disassembly to clean the fan and i pulled the 30 pin connector and i broke a part in the side, that part connects the soket and the motherbase i turned up the pc and then the black screen and the 8 beeps appears, i dont know if that have a solution because i dont know if that socket can be replazed and solded to the motherboard or i need to buy a new one. one time that i turned on the pc the alienware logo showed up but then i turned off and never came back pls help i dont know what to do, a new motherboard cost like $650 :(
‘’’++Rodrigo L++’’’ “i broke a part in the side “ yes that could be your problem. Here is the bad part. Unless we can see the damage the board etc. there is not a whole lot we can do. So, take some good pictures and post those with your question. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. It will allow us to see what you see. If it is broken off there may still be the possibility to attach it “properly” by soldering it on etc.
