Sadly my iPhone 6S appeared to die yesterday. It was on a full battery and I was listening to music. The music stopped, I looked at the phone and it was on the white screen with a black apple. It stayed stuck on that screen. I held power and home for awhile and it finally went off. Pressed power/home again and the white screen with black apple flashed and went off. Since, I have tried connecting it to my computer and doing an emergency restore and a factory reset. Both failed. I have ordered a new phone, but there is data on this phone I would like to retrieve. Even though I was able to force iTunes to recognize it and try an emergency repair on it, the device is not being recognized by Windows 10. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would replacing the battery do anything? Like I said, I just want to get something off of it. Thanks!

In case of a broken battery, you should replace it with another one just to recover your files, but can you provide us with more information, like if your iPhone had battery issues or any other kind of problems before that happened.
