Short back-story: Replacing my buddies screen because his was hellaciously cracked lol. Replaced the screen and moved the home button and such over from the old screen. Plugged the battery back in and it turned on. Everything in the replacement process went perfect no issues at all. Now everything works except for the touch responsiveness. It doesn’t work at all not even a slight movement. I tried using the old screen. It didn’t work now either. Then I had an extra 6s plus laying around. The screen off it didn’t work either. I’m at a standstill here. I’m tempted to just go to the apple store with it and see what they can do or tell me, bu curious if anyone has any insight first. I’ve replaced and worked on hundreds of phones probably, but this one has me stumped. Thanks!

examine the board there are small components just below the fpc connector that are responsible for touch. my guess is while removing the lcd connector you accidentally lifted off one of those small components.
