“My iPhone 6s, model A1633, battery connects at the top of the phone opposite side of the home button. The battery that I ordered and the fix- it guides show a side connection. Does anyone know what battery/ iPhone combination I have. I need to replace the battery since it doesn’t hold a charge anymore.”
I am not sure what phone you have but the iPhone 6S battery cable is in middle on the right. Did you get your phone second hand? Maybe the person before you got a fake back panel and thy mistakenly rote 6S. When you connect your phone to iTunes what does you phone come up as?
