So a few weeks ago, a portion of the left side of my screen (a vertical bar) started appearing very minority graphically distorted. Pretty much just colors in slightly darker/wrong shades. Then yesterday weird small blue horizontal flashing lines appeared and disappeared across the screen, and this morning 6 pink vertical bars are occupying the screen to the point where I can’t see anything. Any help or tips of what would need to be replaced would be much appreciated. All the Apple stores and repair services are closed in my area because of COVID so I hope this is something I can order a part for and repair on my own. The computer works fine when connected to an external display. Thanks. Edit: Added a picture of what it looks like now. The screen has changed from all pink, to now working but distortions (or flat out not working) on the very far left and right sides.
Not sure what the green thing is (a plant leaf?) It appears you lost the righthand side of your display.about 1/5th vertical section. This is either caused by damage to the edge of the LCD panel within the lid by a bang along the top or bottom edge in the area effected. I the newer Fn & TB systems we have a more exposed area along the black clutch cover which protect the four ribbon cables leading from the upper case to the side as seen here:

Damage to one of these cables or the T-CON board its self could be the cause. Sadly, the only means to fix either cause is replacement of the complete display assembly: 13” MacBook Pro Display Assembly - Space Grey, Apple P/N 61-0797013” MacBook Pro Display Assembly - Silver, Apple P/N 661-07971 MacBook Pro 13" Function Keys 2017 Display Assembly Replacement
