Chosen Solution
SO my 5s was being very temperamental when charging, only when cable was pressed in a certain way, so I have purchased a new lightning ass’y and battery. Now after replacent when cable is inserted it boots up,as if it recognises, but not charging. Next steps?
just figure I would ask, have you tried using a different Apple Certified charging cable?
You have no idea how many cables I’ve bought the last few months xD ended with one from amazon that had good reviews and worked ok at first
