Hi, you can upgrade CPU up to i7-7700K 4,2GHz (it was top CPU what you can get with this model - the processor is mounted on an industry-standard LGA 1151 socket. The processor is difficult to access, but it is not soldered in place.. RAM is already on max what this system support :) You can also upgrade storage - it has a Serial ATA (6 Gb/s) connector for a 2.5" hard drive and a PCIe connector (no M2 !) for the SSD.
