Chosen Solution

Bought this TV ~2yrs ago, with 2yr support from GeekSquad @ Best buy. Called them for support, though with this pandemic I had no luck on being served in NYC. Now my support is over. I’m still calling there, without any hope. Regardless of the support from GeekSquad, I’m wondering if it should be a simple fix. I’ve tried resetting image settings, without any look. Before buying a new TV (not on BestBuy —never again, unless they fix my tv), I was wondering what could be the issue on my tv and how to fix it. Any help appreciated.

Hi @evertonbrazuka It seems that you answered your own question. It looks like there is a problem with the LED backlighting in that area of the screen. It won’t be a problem with a board as the board powers all the LEDs as groups and not just individual ones. The TV would have to be dismantled to a point where the LED strips are accessible and the diffusers, LEDs and the LED strips can be checked and tested. Here’s a video that shows how it is done. Whilst it is not for your exact model the principle is the same.
