My 50UH5500 doesn’t turn on and makes a ticking sound. I search it on the forum and understand that it may need a re-bolling. So do you guys think oven method is suitable for solving this problem. If I bake it would it completely dies?
@mrbaran before you decided to cook/bake things make sure that you check the boards first. The clicking could also be coming from a bad power board. you need to isolate the error first before making a decision to place a board in the oven. Yes, it is possible that your board will completely die. Open it up and check the boards for damage, measure the voltages on the power board and the voltages going to the main board. Identify the board where the clicking comes from. Post some good pictures of the boards with your question. Adding images to an existing question
