Chosen Solution
I have read so many posts about the 4s wifi/bluetooth problems. Most of them discuss the wifi being greyed out. However, my wifi works just fine and only my bluetooth is greyed out. It happened the day after I tried a Kinovo BTC450 aux connector for the car. I don’t know if having two bluetooth devices connected at one time caused some overheating or a short. I have tried the blowdryer method, system restore via itunes, downloading alternative bluetooth apps to see if anything can connect, deleting all devices from my Pilot’s system and also my phone’s system, changing the name of my phone to one without an apostrophe, etc, etc. and nothing is working. Wondering if installing a new wifi/Bt antenna will help. Thanks.
If you have done all the restating and restoring then it’s the chip that’s at fault I hear it’s a risky enough repair and sometimes might not work but i wouldn’t be to sure
