My TV has horizontal lines blue, pink and gray lines. then it has black and gray lines. then the screen goes all black. i have to unplug it for it to stop. i unplugged all the cables and nothing. I tried hitting the back of the set and nothing. How to fix? Update (08/26/2018)

@ritaw212 Your lines are really not exclusively horizontal. There are more vertical lines which could be caused by loss of timing. This could be a bad T-con board, bad main board or at worst a bad panel. Remove the back and take a look at the boards and the wiring. Post some images of those with your question. That will allow us to see what you see . T-con board would be my first suspect.
