I have recently found my own old 3GS I tried charging and the apple logo appeared and went off numerously over many hours never powering on I assume it will need a new battery later the entire LCD started falling out from the top and the entire screen came out but the screws were left in. do all replacement screens come with new screw attachments and how can I keep the screen in if not.
You can buy replacement screws from here, no need to buy a new screen if the old one works fine. ;-) Update (09/26/2018) @jbb25 Tesa tape is a wonderful adhesive. I believe that 2 mm Test tape would work great for this purpose as it is very strong. Just use as much as you can to hold the screen down without going over electronics or circuit boards.
