Do you think that with some software or firmware updates, that the chip that supports AT&T 3g can be turned on in this phone? If so how and when?
No, there is no chip that supports ATT 3G, it will only work on T-Mobile’s frequencies, however, it will work on ATT’s EDGE frequencies.
As of a few weeks ago you can now buy a Nexus one that works on AT&T straight from Google.
