(quick note, my ds does have cfw, but it was working fine and worked fine at one point during this saga) Hey everyone, this is a long and complicated story that started when my little cousins dropped my 3ds. So the hinge cracked and snapped off the plastic eventually, so I tried to open the ds to fix it. Upon reassembly, I noticed that at first, the light turned on, and the screen turned on, but it there was no image and it turned off after a second. (I realize NOW that my issue was the IR board was flipped). So I kept screwing around with it more and &&^&@@ up the bottom small ribbon cable clip, so I can’t get it back in placr. Last night, I was able to hold that cable over the contacts, and at last, the DS turned on! However there was still no image, but I could at least hear the home menu music, I was getting closer. Now today, I looked at it again and the light just turns on then turns off after a second… great. I don’t even know what to do at this point, if I keep screwing with the cables I’m only gonna mess them up more than I feel like i already have. I just want to get it to at least turn on so I can transfer my data to a new 3ds. If you guys have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!

I am experiencing the same thing man, but I always mistreated my 3ds as a kid and then it happened. blue light no visual, then it shuts off
