My 3DS got caught in a flood and won’t turn on anymore. The charge light still works and turned on without me plugging it in. I left it out to dry and didn’t try turning it on for a few days. I’m afraid it might be fried but would like an opinion to see if there is any chance to save my 3DS.

Really all you can do is clean it from water damage. If that doesn’t fix it, there isn’t much you can do besides replace the motherboard, and that likely cost as much as a new 3DS. Definitely replace the battery. Link one and two are guides on cleaning it and the other is how to dismantle it.
