Chosen Solution
Recently i replaced my top screen. Bottom screen worked fine before replacement. The screen can tell something is there but it remains black. Not sure which ribbon controlls bottom display. They look like they are in there fine. Side note: I ripped my camera ribbon and its no longer hooked up, not sure that has anything to do with my problem.
Hello, I have had this problem in the past. I did the following thing. STEPS:
- I purchased a new screen, I will include a link that you can use to replace.
- Follow the tear down guide (Nintendo 3DS XL Touchscreen Replacement) with the tools needed (I would purchase new tools unless you have them)
