Hi, I just finished moving all the components of my iPhone 8 to a new housing (the back glass was shattered) and everything seems to work fine (touch ID, true tone) except for 3D touch functionality. I’m certain it worked before switching the housing and I already tried a factory reset. Is 3D touch dependent on the housing in any way? If not, what else could be the cause of this problem? 3d touch is part of the screen and has nothing to do with the case.
