Please I have a new LG refrigerator GL-131SLQ and the seller told me that I should on it the next day, I did that but from the first day I on it about 30 hours now is still not cooling why
Hi @Paulina Pipim, The fridge should have reached its’ normal operating temperature at least after 24 hours. Was it delivered in an upright (vertical) mode or in a horizontal (lying down) position? It it was delivered lying down, turn off the power to the refrigerator and allow it to stand for 24 hours before turning it on again. This will allow the lubricating oil in the sealed section to settle back down into the compressor. If it was delivered correctly in an upright position, can you hear the compressor motor running? Is it running continually? If so or if it isn’t running and you have checked that the power supply to the fridge is OK contact the seller and tell them of the problem. Since it is new it will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. If the seller refuses to help, follow the directions in the manufacturer’s warranty statement, that should be in the documentation that came with the refrigerator, as to what to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair or replacement.
