My Samsung 46” LCD television (LN46C630K1FXZA) has 3 very narrow HORIZONTAL lines. One is red, one is green and the other one is blue. They are located 4” below the top of the LCD screen. They are clear and distinct, and do not flicker. They remain stationary at the same location at all times. They appear in all resolution settings, including the test image generated by the internal diagnostics. What is causing these lines, and more importantly, what can I do to fix this issue? Thanks for any info, Tom

@edmccauley , Not everybody is online at the same time or goes back to see what has been posted previously ;-) This is a worldwide forum so a little patience may be a virtue. You’re not doing too bad. 1 for 1 Only 1 in 5 bother to reply to my answer to a question that they have asked. Horizontal lines are caused by a faulty panel or the horizontal driver board connections to the panel. These board connections are not the tcon board connections as the tcon is for the vertical lines in the display. You can try dismantling the TV to get to the panel and then try pressing the connections back on, but they are very fragile and you may cause more problems. Also changing the panel is problematic as getting replacement panels, if you can find one, is nearly as expensive as getting a new TV. Search online using the panel part number found on the back of the panel. You may either have to live with it or sell your TV as faulty screen - good for parts, to recoup some of the cost towards a new TV. Working TV boards are always in demand
