i took it apart and fixed some of the frame and it changed. left this in case it helps: I bought some broken ps4 pros and I can’t figure out what’s wrong with one of them. Pressing the power button turns it on but after a few seconds 3 beeps occur and it turns off. I’ve opened it up and other than some bugs, a scratch near the APU, and a buzzing in the PSU when turning have found nothing. I was wondering if you guys have experienced this or know how to fix it? is it the scratch or PSU?(picture is the scratch)
————————————————- new question: the ps4 turns on but the fan ramps up to the max with the light flashing blue. Does anyone know how to fix this? I currently think it might be the scratch shorting the temperature sensor in the APU or something or that i need to replace the thermal paste(im reuseing the paste for the time being until I can get it to works)
Hi! It looks like that the scratch did not brake any of the traces, right (as far as I can see in the picture)? I think this is APU related instead of the power supply. Do you still need to fix the other 2? You could simply try the PSU from a working one (type must match offcourse).
