Hi, My son bought an Iphone 5c and did an update on it and now it says he is locked out without an itunes password of the previous owner. We bought it online so we could not contact her. Is there anywhere this is fixable?
This is strictly a software question, and thus is out of reach for many iFixers. You have several options: replace the logic board, or take it to Apple, explain, and have them use their custom software tools to decrypt and wipe the device.
