I have a 24" LCD Sansui Television. It has worked awesome for a long time but now I can’t view anything on either HDMI ports. I have a cable box and a play station plugged into the HDMI ports but whenever one or the other is on, the screen just says “HDMI1” or “HDMI2” in the bottom right corner but doesn’t show a picture, or sound. It will work fine and then the picture cuts out and it goes back to only saying which HDMI setting it’s in with no picture. I’ve tried unplugging the cords, cleaned the ports, and switching settings, but nothing seems to be cutting it.

Could well be the HDMI chip, Are you fairly competent when it comes to things like this?
