2018 Terrain Engine Started Humming At 28 Mph And Rpm Jumped To 4 6 Gmc

While driving after an Auto Stop my engine started humming at 28 mph and RPM jumped to 4-6. I pulled over and turned off the car and it went back to normal. After a few days I start feeling a pull and my RPM fluctuates more than normal. When gaining speed it’s goes as high as 4 and won’t go back down until I release the gas. When I release and keep speed the same it goes back to my normal RPM 1-2. No “check” lights came on.

@mommasam sounds like an issue with the autoshift. This is a pretty new vehicle and the first step I would undertake is to either have the OBD scanned at places like Autozone etc. or have the dealer take a look at it. Any repair like that should still be covered under warranty.
