Chosen Solution

Hi guys, I recently dropped my 15” Early 2013 Macbook Pro Retina and it landed on the right corner. Now, it won’t turn on, unless it’s plugged in to a power source. I recently went in and disconnected all the wires and reconnected them, still same problem. Here’s my system report - Charge Information:   Charge Remaining (mAh): 7783  Fully Charged: Yes  Charging: No  Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 7981  Health Information:  Cycle Count: 53  Condition: Replace Now  Battery Installed: Yes  Amperage (mA): 0  Voltage (mV): 12415 Does anybody have a solution to this? Do I just need a new battery, or is there an easier solution to this problem? Note: The low cycle count is because I replaced the battery just 6 months ago.

Condition: Replace Now - Is a good clue this battery has issues. As you just replaced it I would contact the person who sold you the battery for an exchange as its likely defective.

That might be either a problem with the charger, or a problem with one of the connections from the charger to the battery.
