Hey guys, I’m unable to power my device on. I ordered a new power adapter but worry it’s the PCB. Any chance I can fix this thing? It’s highly unlikely that the HD itself is damaged since I have barely touched it / moved it in years.
Hiya. They normally burn some ic on the board. Try and get the same board and switch the damaged ic over. If that does not work the move over the NEC chip. you will need to have some kind of micro soldering skill to perform this task.
