About a year ago my macbook charger had some problems that required buying a new cable and re-soldering the cables to the board like this [guide](How to Repair an Apple AC Adapter Broken Cable) This worked for the last year until a few days ago when the charger sometimes wouldn’t charge. I opened it back up thinking the cables may have gotten loose, but no they were still secure. Closed it up and it worked again, then today I couldn’t get to charge again. Opened it up again and I think the aluminum case that connects pulled up some connects on the circuit board. When the aluminum casing pulled up it pulled a green connection up, and the green connection was a different color than the base board. Does this mean it has connected by like a wire? I believe this is the issue but I’m not sure if anyone could tell me how it goes together it would be appreciated. Pictures of properly working boards would be helpful too! thank!
Looks like a broken trace. The only way to really fix it is either to buy a new one or using a multimeter follow where the trace goes and solder a wire from Point a and point b which will do the same thing as the trace would have. Hope this helps and good luck fixing!
