I just replaced the battery on my 2011 MBP and it is now saying i should replace the battery. It shows it charging and it is 100% but it will not work without the power supply attached. Things I did: Ensured the battery is installed correctly (done twice)Reset the SMCReset the PRAMdownloaded coconutbattery checker and confirmed the battery is in good shape Any thoughts? The computer is running great otherwise. Please help! Update (06/15/2020) Looks like a potential bad battery. Thoughts? I uploaded a picture. I just bought this one from iFixit a couple of months ago.
Have you tested the battery with a multimeter to ensure its working?
