Hi, I wanted to clear the business mid 2010 imac for sale so I reformatted the drive, then went to reinstall OS and it wouldnt work! I did hours of research, read that the OS that it shipped with in 2010 is needed and the “restore from internet” feature wont work for me. I can’t seem to “restore MACOS from disk” for some reason thus my reason for trying the internet option. When I select restore from internet, it downloads something and takes forever, then prompts to get started with new OS only to say, “can’t locate a copy of MACOS on on your hard drive”. Any ideas??
