Hello, I have 2008 hyundai elantra and it is starting to give me hard time. The driver side and rear driver side windows work fine. However, passenger side and rear passenger side windows are experiencing problems. They go down just fine, but when I try to roll it up I have to hold the switch up for a while (sometimes up to 10+ minutes) while driving And yesterday, my front passenger window finally died on me and never came up. now I have my window tape sealed because it is stuck in the middle. I’d like to resolve this asap but don’t want to pay multiple hundreds in auto shop. What part do I need to change? I’ve tried all methods from opening/slamming doors, punching the speaker area etc. It does not make any noise when I pull up the switch thanks in advance

Hi there. I’m not sure if you got your window issue fixed, but I had the same problem on my 2009 Elantra. It turned out that the switch contacts were corroded. I just had to open up the door, pull the switches out and file the contacts down a bit. Here’s the fix that worked for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIySGnak… If this doesn’t work you may need to replace the switches (which is fairly cheap) or the motors themselves.
