sounds like a compression problem take it to a mechanic have them do a compression test and leak down test if leak down fails our compression fails youll have to get either a used engine or have it rebuilt
I got 98 Taurus it no crank no start I replaced mass air flow make sure battery disconnect cause I didn’t so after I changed it I started car it started leave car running don’t shut off because I did and the car won’t start at all so I got to reset pcm before it start so to reset it get a resister cost about dollar fifty parts store all need is 10amp-1ome connect the the end wires to battery terminal disconnect from battery so just terminal then leave connected like ten fifteen minits it will reset pcm coad
