I have replaced the 2nd generation Ipod’s front assembly panel by the panel purchased from iFixit. Just after the installation the screen looked good. But after a day 1 line came moving parallel from one end to another end. Next day another line appeared with same characteristic. Please advise.
I would contact iFixit and see if you can send that screen back and they can replace with you another one. If they cannot, you should check the connectors. If they all look connected fine, it is probably a LCD problem, so you will need to purchase another. Best thing to do would be checking the connectors and making sure they are connected correctly and in the right spots. Lose connections may be causing these lines. Best of luck!
