I bought the OWC Aura Pro X2 SSD that is supposed to fit as a replacement for my MacBook Pro (early 2015 13” retina), but the shape is different and doesn’t fit into the slot. Is there another one that I can get that will fit? Edit: Pics added on 6/10 The narrower (Samsung) is the original drive, and the wide (OWC) one is the replacement. The overall width of the part that goes in the slot is the same, but the notch is in a different spot. I tried turning it over just to check, but the replacement won’t fit either way.
Can you explain what is causing it not to fit. Are you putting it in correctly? The connector is keyed so it will only go in one way (right side up). The blade SSD does need to be the narrow version not the wide version. Did you get the wide one?
Googling that seems to be an M2. That goes in a slot. Since I am not experienced in mac repair, If there is no m2 slot, no fit. I have seen a case that mac doesnt hae m2.
