My car (1998 Buick regal GS 3.8 supercharged) smells like gas while driving using excessive gas went through two tanks of gas In 4 days of going to work. I see visual sings of any leaks.car runs fine no problems and no codes are present.
Hi check the pipe leading from the petrol cap has not rusted or check under the back seats there should be a round cap leading to the tank float sensor! sometimes the seal gets broken ..and needs resealing. it could be rich petrol flow into the carb..or even the auto choke system has jammed up. make sure you get it sorted soon asap.
