10 Tecumsen 1 cylinder on a Generator. Has sat for 10 + years. Replaced fuel, fuel lines and filter. Cleaned out float valve base. Have new gas at float valve. Fires and starts if I spray gas in carburetor but wi not run on its own. What am I missing? Thanks for your time
Here’s a wild gander: Have you checked the fuel pump? (If it even has one; I’ve never heard of these kind of engines)Could also be electrical wiring or a flow valve being shut (our Honda lawnmower has a fuel cut-off valve).
